Found this book on fin de siécle furniture a while ago, immediately wanted to recreate some of it :)
Had three main goals in mind:
- tackling a lot of spline based geometry
- testing UE 4.25's ray-tracing features (especially how lighting masked / transparent elements is handled)
- not getting caught up in creating a huge environment that takes too long to finish
The whole scene uses one basic master material with a world normal blended dust layer.
Used Quixel textures for the background.
